Jules, Look what I can do . . .

Ellie's 3 y.o. cousin, Jules, is coming out for a visit in August. We have been telling her all about him and we're so excited for them to play together.

Look how smart Ellie is . . . using a tool. What a homosapien. :)

Bright, Sunshiny Day

Last Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day. It was almost 80 degrees!!! We spent the day enjoying Seattle . . . and good thing we did because it's been raining and cold ever since.
Hanging out at Gas Works Park with a view of the needle. Ellie looks like an angel in her daisy chain.
She sure liked having her toes in the grass.
Daddy and Ellie taking a break near Pike Place Market.
Ooooo, so bright!

Grammas, Grampas, MaPops & Ba-Pops

Ellie has been having lots of fun with her grandparents lately. And I think visa-versa!!

Hanging out in the sling with Ba-Pop

Happy Birthday to my mum last week. Ellie helped her open presents. And discovered tissue paper doesn't really taste that good.
Scrabble game with Grampa.

Ellie & Friends

My good friend from nursing school has a baby who is 2 months older than Ellie. We all got together awhile ago and compared mommy notes.
Lucy looks SO much like her daddy!
I think Ellie still thinks her feet are her favorite thing ever.
What's so funny, Ellie??
P.S. Guess what?? Ellie is rolling over!! I will have to take some video and post soon

Nap Time Angel

Ellie turned 5 months old this week and she is now starting to take some"regular" naps. I mean regular because her normal before was maybe two 20 minute naps during the day. But lately she has been sleeping for close to an hour. Maybe it's because I've let her nap on her tummy . . . or
maybe it's because Ba-Pop is the master at getting her to sleep. He snuggles her up on his shoulder and walks around the house "shhhing" in counts of 3 . . . shh..
shhh...
shhhh...
shhhhhh...

Sunny Day with the Grammas

Laura (Drew's mum) came over yesterday for a visit. And brought Ellie her most recent knitted creation . . .
An adorable spring dress! And with her pattent-leather shoes from Auntie Paula she looks SO cute.
Ellie and gramma (maybe to be called Koko, African for gramma) hung out outside and Ellie played with her toes in the grass.
Don't you love her summer hat??!!!
