Yum, Canada Sand

We just got home from Vancouver Island last night. We had a great trip visiting family and hanging out at the beach. It was actually nice weather the ENTIRE weekend, big improvement from last summer!

One year ago today . . .

Since we moved in last week, I can't find my cameras USB cable! That means I can't download all the cute pics I've been taking of our little muchkin.

So I was looking through some old pics and found these . . .

They are from exactly one year ago this week.

We always head up to Canada this weekend and we're on our way again this year.

Now we're a family of 3, it makes me wonder . . . Where will we be one year from today?? . . .

Busy bees

We have been very busy these last few days. We are moving into a new condo about 4 miles from mum & dad's house. Moving is crazy but with a 7 month old . . . Wow! It's definitely going to take some time for Ellie to adjust to her new surroundings.

She Rocks!

We got this cute musical toy at a g-sale last week and Ellie loves it. It's so amazing to me how quickly she learns how to make all the gadgets work!

And I especially love how she is rockin' to the music. A musical prodigy at 7 months!

Biscuits for Babies???

I bought Ellie some organic barley teething biscuits. Here are a few shots of the very messy eating experience. I think it's so funny they are called teething biscuits, now I feel like I'm feeding her a doggie treat.

This is Ellie's new favorite game. Drew takes in a big breath and then blows a puff of air in her face. You'd think she wouldn't like to be startled but she just grins!! Looks like she'll be going to scarey movies with her daddy and leaving mum at home!!

P.S. Ellie is 7 months old today!!

Still Summer Dreaming.

It has been unusually cold here in the Pacific Northwest this spring and my dad (the family weatherman) just informed me it's going to be at least 10 degrees below normal temperatures all week! That means it may not get above 60 degrees!

Brrrrr. I don't remember if sunny weather was on my Boise Top 10 list but I sure do miss the Idaho sunshine!
