Perfectly pink

I remember when I was pregnant I would say . . . 'Just because I'm having a girl doesn't mean I'm always going to dress her in pink!'

Well, despite some minor effort Ellie seems to wear pink most every day!

She just looks so darn cute in it!

Fabulous winter coat from Ma-Pop and Ba-Pop

One of Ellie's favorite games is to get her dirty clothes out of her laundry basket and carry them around the house. I find socks and shifts stuffed in the oddest places.

Mellow Yellow

Since yellow is one of my very favorite colors, it was much easier to find it around my house than purple!

It's just such a happy color . . .

especially on these dreary Seattle days! Some of my favorite cups and saucers Ellie favorite snack! Also notice the yellow plate on the kitchen wall . . . one of my favorite yard sale finds last season. Tomorrows color is pink! Gee, I wonder what room I will find that color in . . .

Color me pretty -- Purple Tuesday

I have realized the color purple is quite scarce in my world!!

But here are the few things I found . . .

Color Week Begins -- Blue Monday

Big news on the Noble blog front . . . I'm participating in a blog color week. Some of my fellow bloggers, namely Leya at curiousbird.typepad.com are instigating this activity.

The game is to take photos of things in your world which match the assigned color of the day.

The schedule is:

Monday - Blue

Tuesday - Purple

Wednesday - Yellow

Thursday - Pink

Friday - Stripes or plaid (any color combination)

It certainly plays to my creative side and will make a great scrapbook mini album.

It has already made me look more closely at my world and notice how beautiful it is . . .

I bought these awesome wooden flowers at a garage sale last spring but I just never got around to putting them up. Since Drew had the day off last Friday he was on baby duty while I redecorated and organized Ellie's room. (Just what he wanted to do with his weekday off :)

So my New Years resolution of 'getting creative' with Ellie . . . check!
