Sweetness

Well, I am now officially in my 30's!!!

Drew planned a fabulous weekend including shopping, spa treatments, lots of champagne and a circus/dinner theatre.

So far life is my 30's is great! Life with 2 kids seems to have found a rhythm and being back at work is a perfect balance.

Maarrrryyy Poppins!

This weekend marked a milestone in Ellie's life. Her first broadway calabre play.

Mary Poppins at the Paramount in Seattle.

We were so excited to take her to such a beautiful theatre and watch her experience a big musical. Mamop and Bapop came too and saw the sparkle in her eyes.

She's was such a good girl . . . watching intently . . . clapping after songs . . . being careful not to kick the seat in front of her . . . whispering very quietly . . . and she only fell asleep for a few minutes.

I hope she loves the theatre as much as her mummy and daddy.

When I was little I watched Mary Poppins every single day, sang the songs incessently and wore this red cape constantly.

It's a jolly holiday with Ellie . . .

Laugh Attack

It's pretty awesome to see the relationship between Ellie and Jude start to develop.

So far, he thinks she's hilarious.

True, he's only 4 months old but the teething saga has begun!

Lil Juder found his feet this week. He looks so proud of himself when he grabs them and manages to get a toe in his mouth. Remember, this cute photo? Ellie at 5ish months.

Easter

I officially get a bad mother award for my despicable lack of photos from Easter.

We had a lovely brunch and egg hunt with some friends and neighbors (in pouring rain, of course!)

But managed to miss every photo op, including any decent photo of Ellie in her beautiful dress and I don't even have a picture of Ellie and Jude together!

Like I said, very bad mom!

I think I may dress them in their Easter outfits again and pretend. Ellie will probably think that's a grand idea!

Summer Dreaming

I think Ellie is ready for summer.

Every afternoon she asks to have our big blue comforter spread out on the living room floor. She then dons a swimsuit and pretends to swim in her "pool".

And here she is outfitting her little brother for sun.

I agree Ellie! I'm ready for summer too!
