It has been a historic week in the Noble family and in the country!
Ellie not only turned one but Barack Obama has been elected as the next President.
Just think, my parents lived through the civil rights movement, wondering if people would ever have equal rights . . . I grew up wondering why the only presidents in this country were white men . . . but Ellie will grow up in a world where a black man as president is an everyday reality!
This is a great day!
We were at a celebration party tonight and right during the middle of Obama's acceptance speech , Ellie clearly said . . . "Obama". We have witnesses !!
